Plugs are covered in oil ...
I am in the process of changing my plugs for the 2nd time (66k miles) and 4 out 6 are cover in oil. It seems that the threads are covered just as much as the electrodes ..... Any reason for concern here? I am in the process of cleaning my intake valves ( 2nd time) , Changing plugs, and changing oil before I turn on my Snow perf. Stg 3 meth ...

No need to worry. I changed mine last week. The oil is actually from spillage when adding oil. Do you change your own oil or do you get it done somewhere? Make sure a funnel is used
Anyway....all I did is take my extension rod and wrapped some LINT FREE cloth around it and cleaned up the little bit of oil. No biggie. Hope this helped. |
