Whats limiting the n55?

Ok guys so is this engine ever going to be better than the n54? So far I\'ve heard 4 things that limit it, maf sensor, valvetronic, turbo size, and the material the crank is made from are there any potentials for this engine that differentiate it from the n54 n may make it better

Lol I've seen that pic b4 Frankie, that fucking sucks that the crank is cast any benefits in doing it that way vs forged aside from cost reductions wtf or was it put there just to deter us from modding this is bullshit

Really?.... I mean.... Really?

The crank is the LAST of your concerns. You'll blow a cast piston long before the crank is even close to being stressed.

These are still inline 6's guys... the most naturally balanced motors made. You'd have to have some SEVERE detonation to stress a crank enough to break or ungodly amounts of torque (I guess north of 800wtq).

As long as your TUNE is good, the crank should not be a concern.

That's not my experience. I averaged 21.4 in my (stock) 2008 N54. 9750 miles into my 2011 N55, I'm at 20.8.

The n55 is turning out to be a tuning flop..seems its more susceptible to heat and IAT issues..guys r just not making big numbers on this car..at least not yet.
