GM F-body wheels/drag radials on 335i

Don't Flame me, but will f-body wheels 5x475 (120.65) = our 5x120mm? The pattern and offset is roughly the same, but wondering about bore fitment and using my lug bolts on wheels that were designed for lug nuts.
The reason I'm asking is I found a used set of drag radials mounted on 96 T/A wheels and looking to use them for 1/4 mi runs and back and forth to the track, not for DDing...

Short story is I have a JB+, BMS DCI and think I'm close to a buddies 98 SS Camaro running DR's. Well, with factory runflats, I think I'll have a hard time breaking 12's, which is where he is now. He's already talking crap, and I can't spend any more money on new DR's or JB4 like some of you may suggest.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't risk it.

While the measurements are close, precision matters. What size are the DRs? We need at least a 17 inch wheel to clear the rear calipers.

Considering wheels are typically classified as a safety item, I would avoid fitting 5-4.75 wheels on. Bolt pattern tolerance is probably a true position of 0.25 mm, so these are already out of spec for a 5-120. Adding the fact that you intend to use these for racing puts additional stress on the bolts if fitted. It will bolt up, but I would avoid doing that.

I've been involved with the F-body scene for a few years now and can tell you that there are quite a few people doing the opposite of what you are planning (running BMW wheels on camaros/trans-ams) for street duty with no reported problems, but I wouldn't do it. There was a huge discussion on ls1tech.com a few years ago whether such a small measurement change would indeed cause any noticeable stress to the wheel/bolts/axle, but the argument just kept on going back and forth and no consensus was ever reached.

You'll basically be putting the wheels in a car for which they were not designed for, not to mention that you'll be using them for racing (which will be applying some serious stress on the wheels/bolts every time you launch). I don't know man, but I don't think I'd run the risk.
