PROcede installed/tuned with Very Low Mileage

Is there any disadvantage to having PROcede installed/tuned on a car with only 500 miles? Should the car be more of a road veteren to get the optimal tuning results?

I put my procede on with 1500 miles. And I know a few people that had 500 miles with it on.

I think there's been some posts on this, might be tough to find due to the amount of information. Maybe a search on "break in with Procede" or something similiar would work. I do know that my 335 will have about 500-700 miles on it when I get mine installed May 5. As long as you don't do anything crazy it should be fine.

I'd wait till 1000-1200 miles just to be on the safe side or install it when you get it but avoid WOT.

2 K miles for me, only because that was when the PROcede was available. I wouldn't have waited.

1220 miles when I got my installed.
I was going to say, ADHD had his put on his car almost immediately, and obviously so did Shiv.
I think there are a handful of guys who all had them put on with between 500-1500 miles on there cars.

I got mine installed obviously right after the 1200 mile break in period.
But I'd wait at least 500-600 miles just to make sure your car is on the up and up before installing.
And if you can wait a 1000 miles or so, so much the better.
You'll love the stock 335i anyway, and waiting a bit will only make you appreciate the PROcede even more.

He probably has a build date of March 2007 and later.
BMW made some changes on the cars as of build dates after this (oil coolers, USB/Ipod adapters, etc) they
HOPEFULLY changed the fuel pumps to new ones too.
They should call these cars 2007.5 if they did.

Geez, don't be impatient.
Give your car a BIT of a chance to break in stock and be sure all is okay.
