Exclamation HELP! Should I go with a matte or jet black grille?

I am struggling with a decision on either buying a matte black grille or a jet black grille. I am going to put it on my jet black 335xi as I am also blacking out the rest of the car. In your opinions which looks better? I need to know soon because I would like to get everything ordered asap.

I have a 2011 Jet Black 328i and i have matte black one's currently installed. I'm planning on blacking out my car too and i'll be finished once i get my windows tinted this weekend. So far i love the way it looks. They're the only part of my car that doesn't shine and that really makes them "pop" out at you. I've seen pics of a jet black e92 w/ painted grills and i thought it made the front end look a little gaudy or cheap.

Thanks for the quick responses. Kennethpetro, I have seen a couple pictures as well where it does look a little gaudy or cheap, but thank you for your thoughts.. I think I'm going to head down the matte black direction.

I am going to do all of the cosmetic parts the same of either just doing matte or just doing painted/gloss, but in your opinion which one seems to look better?

matte black because ur lower grills are matte black. Then get some matte black rims and some matte black roundels... subtle contrast is key to class my friend

I made the mistake of getting gloss black rims when I got my car and wished I went with matte black instead.

Don't be like me, be a winner

Prefer matte black since the window trim is matte black also.

This comes up a lot. I went gloss because I think matte looks ghetto.

Personally I don't like matte black most of the time since I see matte black plastic as "cheap," but I think since you have a glossy black car it'll provide good contrast.

Right now I have chrome window trim but I am going to put on black window trim. Any suggestions with the easiest way to do that? And I am going to go all matte black I've decided. After I get the makeover done I'll post some pictures to show how it turned out!

If your going all matte, then vinyl the trim as well.

Check out the grille on my sig, I can send you some free vinyl if you need them.
