best HID bulb replacement?

So my E92 OEM angel rings no longer work on one side - assuming it's a dead bulb after 45k km.

I don't want to get a full LED angel eyes replacement kit for $200+, but instead am looking for a OEM HID replacement bulb that provides a similar effect by providing a whiter light. (I know it won't be as bright as a LED kit)

I'll get a H8 and H3 to ensure consistency.

Any recommendations/ options?

Well, like you already said, it won't be as bright as a LED setup. And furthermore, when you put the headlights on, you may or may not have noticed that the angel eyes dim. If you replace it with a higher temperature halogen bulb, it looks kinda nasty when it dims. But at any rate, the GP Thunder 7500K/8500K bulbs seem to look pretty good.
