I got my 07 BMW 335i with 60k miles. I drive about 100 miles a day for work and i now have about 84k on it...is there any type of maintence i need to do at this amount of miles?

Check your current service needs through the iDrive or dash computer. See "Service Requirements" in the owner's manual for particulars.

Biggest thing would be to inspect for worn belts and hoses, as rubber parts deteriorate with age and exposure to heat and ozone. There are numerous recommendations for fluid replacements as well, including transmission and differential fluids. A Tom K. says above, consult your owner's manual for the particulars.

I recently got the Bentley manual and they say that the transmission fluid and filter should be changed between 60-80k with the maximum interval 100,000 miles. I am at 109,000 and will be doing mine soon. BMW says the transmission fluid is lifetime but I have read from a couple of good sources that this is a good idea and I don't see a downside. Less than 100 bucks. I plan on driving mine till 200k so I think it makes sense. I also did my spark plugs at about 85k which improved acceleration and gas mileage so you may consider that. Also the belt should be changed at some point in the fairly near future

WOW! That is the first picture that convinced me to buy black grilles. Never ever liked them until now.

I am at 99k and I recently replaced the trans fluid, believe me or not when I drained the original fluid it was like brand new, I mean identical to the fluid that I bought. Same color etc..and wasn't contaminated at all.
Make sure you replace the spark plugs with genuine NGK ones, air filter, flush power steering fluid, brake fluid, coolant and check your belts.

seriously though, all the idrive says are inspections, oil changes, and brake pads.
i'm guessing everything is covered under "inspections" that doesn't fall under the other catagories? how is one like me supposed to know what service my car needs...

This is the first time I hear that.. is yours 335i, and AT or MT?

check/replaces gaskets...my valve cover and oil filter gasket were toast around 60k. seeming to be more common if u search
