Has anyone ordered raceland dp's lately?

Just wondering if they have fixed the issues with the last batch. That first batch was pretty good wondering if they have fixed the issue.

Wondering myself. $219+ shipping is pretty enticing.

Ordered mine around May of this year and had no issues with installation. If you do end up with a bad batch, you can return it in 30 days and get your money back.

You can get three sets for the same price as AR's. If you have any issues send them back and get another pair. I will be jumping on the RL DP's later on as a friend of mine has them in his 135i and has never had a problem.

That seems like the average response from someone with first hand experience, I too will be ordering a set of raceland dps(probably tax time.) I mean, why not?

Maybe if we get enough of us to approach race land we can get them to really look at their qc because I am not going to pay 500-800 dollars for two dam pipes and be sold the crap line " it costs a lot for quality" and " you drive a BMW" so anyone who has recently bought some let us all know

I'd pay the extra $50 or so to get plm downpipes which seem to have better reviews. I went with plm and have been running them for a couple months now without issues.

I have learned my lesson on this car a few times now. Bottom line is to always order the best parts to avoid install headaches.

I just got mine from them last monday. Fitment was spot on. Sure the qualty of the inside welds wernt the best but they dont leak and def made a difference in power.

Def worth the 200 dollars in my book.

Took about 8 days from day of order to recieve them, and when I had questions the customer service was great!

heres the link I ordered from.

They look absolutely terrible with angular joints and terrible weld joints - anyone have a good dyno vs stock as you can't judge a book by the cover, if the fit and perform then they are certainly worth the money!

It's a set of catless pipes, how do you see catted OEM downpipes performing better?!

Anyways I have a dyno plot but not on this computer at the moment. I do recall my numbers on a dynojet were: 322/343 with just jb4 on map 1, to 350/367 with the raceland downpipes and jb4 on map 1 still. Catless is the way to go in these cars!

I bought aset last fall and had them jet hot coated. So, for ~$300 i had a set if ceramic coated catless dp's and they fit PERFECTLY!!! The only issue i had wa 1 pipe had a bung that was only tacked on an RL paid for me to have a local shop finish welding it on. They also said i could send them back for a refund, but was up to me. I chose to get it welded on their dime and haven't had any issues since.

Alright I might just take the plunge and do a review, I'm going to email them and see how the qc s going on over there, these dp's could really be a great option even if 50-75$ more but I may do the plm also

I bet if you cut out the stock cats out the oem pipe they would make the same power as the racelands!!I I've seen them up close and personal ,and the welds ,quality of the stainless is complete garbage.I guess you pay for what you get!
