Angry E90 Radio Question

Does anyone know if the buttons on the radio are removable (2008 BMW 335i, no idrive). A slighltly drunk friend of mine somehow splashed a few drops of his drink onto the radio and a couple of buttons are now sticky.

I would try just pulling them out, as I assume that's all you have to do, but I don't want to break anything.

You need to remove the radio and take it apart. You can't just remove the buttons by themselves, you need to remove the front panel as a whole.
