*In before the tuner war
I switched from JB3 to V4 back in the day, but the JB4 has come a long way since then.

I see your an MT guy, if by added features you mean the 2 step and flat foot shifting. some JB4 cars are allready running it, and the option is just around the corner

as a current jb4 user, i'd hold out and do some more research on cobb. if they have some meth maps out in the near future, i'm jumping ship.
the sweeping guages, shift lights, auto DTC engagement, code reading, etc of the jb4 are nice, but i don't need them. |

Both piggies put out the same power, I am sure it won't take long before you get all the 'intellectuals' sprouting on about refinement crap, but for my money jb4 is smooth and realiable, oh and half the price, not to mention 1st class support!

Jb is only reliable 100% running meth or race gas since it has no timing control.

the main reason I ask is that the JB4 just doesnt seem that smooth, almost like it makes the car work to hard, all off the logging i have done shows that it is running great, it just seems rough when i am hammering it... procede does have some cool features as well

Personally, I wouldn't switch from one piggy to another. Both have their pros and cons, but both are capable of very similar power. I can personally attest that BMS has great customer service wether it be a specific car problem or for an upgrade in firmware. Going from a piggy to flash would be for personal reasons and make more sense seeing people want different goals out of their cars. I say hold out and see where cobb goes.

Although admittedly I am not 100% sold on the idea of running a jb4 on pump gas, there is a CPS module for the tune which will essentially make it have the same timing "control" as the procede.

I did jb3 to V5 then to jb4 and back to V5. I really enjoy procede and it's performance although not very satisfied with customer service! Is not bad is just that BMS customer service is awesome. Waiting to see Wa Cobb gas to offer like many other regarding meth maps and staff
