35% all the way around, cops will leave you alone. Hit up Borgman's in Holland or Tint Factory in Wyoming.

of course darker looks better, but 35 seems to be the local limit for harassment

The law states that tint to the rear windows can be any darkness and the passenger and driver windows can have the first 4 inches tinted with any darkness. Now with that said, I like to do darker in the back and lighter in the front. (5% rear, 15% front, the reason mine is so dark is because i have photophobia and am required to have darker tint, you might find 15% rear and 35% front more to your liking.) Most people don't like the way this looks but I feel it keeps everyone happy all the way around. My car stays cooler, darker and the cops can still see me. That's my 2 cents.

+1 for 35%

see signature, I have been pulled over a few times and nothing has ever been mentioned about my tint.

I have done a few cars in 50 front, 35 rear and 20 back. It is subtle enough to "fool" the cops becuase the fronts look lighter. Another factor to keep in mind is the interior. I have black with anthracite headliner. Makes everything look a shade darker. A lighter interior could probably use 20.

If you are going for protection (can't find anyone on the West side that promotes Ceramic because we don't have the heat/sun of the South), you could always tint your windshield in 50.

Made an appointment with tint factory on Monday. Looks like I'll get 35% and 20 in the rear.

Don't forget that tint protector thing - you may get scratched up windows.

Why? The different percents are so hard to notice and help seem darker while still being able to see out at night and keep the cops off your back.

just looks more clean to me imo. My buddy in his e46 m3 got 35's all around including windshield tint and i think it looks the best IMO. semi dark all around and protects you from UV from the front windshield. Illegal as hell but can't notice it.

Nice! Callie told me that you were going to tint your car and I would've recommended the same, probably a little darker in the front like 25%? I personally like my privacy and hate the California sunshine! I'm thinking about re-tinting my car this coming spring when a majority of my exterior mods are done.
