successfully coded my car! thank you so much for the all your help. As soon as i get my minor quirks sorted out, i can help any member here out with coding. Free of course, just get me a pack of beer haha.
![]() I coded Digital Speed display, Follow me home lighting, and window safety feature as we speak... I am going to also code door gong disable, door unlocks when key is removed and roll windows up with fob. QUESTION: I want to delete the LED sidemarkers for my 2010 E90 LCI headlights. I cannot find the code in the NFRM module. All the sidemarker options in the google docs spreadsheet fail to show a method for LCI sedan models. Any insight would be appreciated! EDIT: SOLVED ![]() also I tried coding the folding mirrors through fob for my 2010 LCI E90 and i changed the value of this (ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP) to activ but it still doesn't work. Any ideas why? the other coding i mentioned earlier worked without a hiccup. EDIT: Got mirrors to work. thanks in advance for the help. The feeling of accomplishment right now is amazing. ![]() I posted this in the coding forum too, but I posted here too in hopes of getting an answer sooner. ![]() I got the mirrors to work finally. I realized it wasn't the coding that was wrong, it was me who didn't test the mirrors properly. You have to hold the door handle for longer to make the windows fold haha. Yep Glen I sure can ![]() Last edited by gaifaun; 10-09-2011 at 04:03 PM.. |

I just coded remote windows up and mirror fold with fob. removed Idrive disclaimer. All doors unlock upon engine shutoff. key fob eject upon engine shutoff. and a few more random codes haha.
![]() I got this cable. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_7189wt_1165 which is guaranteed to work. It also comes with an adapter so I can code all models, Pre-LCI and LCI alike. cheers to you too man! Quote:

Hey can you teach me how to code? There is too much stuff in the coding forum to sift through. Since you have already figured it out maybe you can spread the knowledge so more people in the GVA can help each other out. I would buy a cable and help others too if I knew how.

you bunch of crazy guys all with Bimmers on my driveway, terrorizing my neigbourhood haha. i'm thinking a mall is more suitable?
as for coding help, It really depends on your determination and ability to DIY things. I am a huge DIY fan and i have the time and persistance to learn coding through the DIY guides. I would make a horrible teacher if you ask me haha so i would rather link you to the tutorials instead haha sorry. Apart from the proper hardware, you would also need the cable and to download all appropriate files and software. I took the plunge to buy the cable and probably read the DIY's 100 times just to get it ![]() |
