Sorry bud but you are misinformed. Escort and Bel are owned by the same company and their RD's are virtually the same with only minute differences, but not enough to label one as the "lower end." Perfect example being the 8500 vs RX65, both based on m4 technology; difference in features is more relative to your personal preference.
