What would the new F30 give us?

The F30 3-series has been officially announced. Couple of interesting things I noticed:

Possibly upgraded factory oil cooler:

Possibly the long rumored BMW 335i performance brakes:

What are you guys talking about?? While I'm not about to trade in my pre-LCI, that thing is like 90% the same as an LCI. If that's ugly, then so are current models.

As most of BMW's styling goes, I'm sure it'll take some getting used to for some.

Outside of the fact that it's ugly...

We know BMW is keeping the N55 but I hope that they don't change the DME logic or move it anywhere so pre-existing tunes are instantly ready when it comes out.

Worldcarfans has quoted it as twin turbo. I guess BMW's twin power marketing is working if they even getting confused.
The car looks like a E90 made out of ice cream left in the sun. The head lights is a facelift gone wrong.

I like the foglight area, but the nose looks too...pinched to me. It's almost like the front is too thin for the rest of the car, like it's trying to be a sports coupe, but it's a sedan.

+1

The front bumper doesn't even look like it lines up with the side skirt. It's like they reversed off a sidewalk and banged it's chin against the curb.

I love the front, however, from the doors back it looks like a LCI e90 seriously it's nearly identical.

I also hate the 135/C Class pop-up nav screen. Other than that, I love the car.

I hope...it will keep our early production year N54's desirable.

heh other than the front fascia, it looks eerily similar to my LCI E90.

Of course I may be a little partial, but IMO the LCI E90 front looks better

Please get new glasses. How in the world does that even resemble the LCI E9x platform is beyond me.

Seems that BMW is really dropping the ball nowadays. F10, and now this.

From a side profile, it does indeed look like an LCI E90.

Here's mine from a side profile for comparison. I guess it's tough to see the lines since it's black though.

Is it just me? Am I the only one that hates the new hoods? I hate how it doesn't extend to the grills. Now you get a horizontal line across the front. Don't like it on the 5 and don't like it on the new 3 either.
