AR catless Downpipes Durability

How long do you think these dp's will hold up? Will these pipes last for a few years?

I have never heard of a set going back but I am just wondering....

thx in advance

I had mine power coated. Had them on on for two years and just had a peak at then last week and they are in pristine conditions. Then again my car never sees rain or snow! Lol. Anyhow I have seen used ones sold and other than the slight yellow discoloration they looked pretty nice. Never seen one with rust like the other less costly DP

The way they are built and from the few I have seen pulled off cars, they will last as long as the car/exhaust lasts. Many, many years. I wouldn't doubt the ar pipes actually outlived the stock pipes. We had one off a car up here after 2 years and not a spec of rust, and this is after 2 Canadian winters and our love of salting roads.

Or you could stay out. It's a legit question. When you buy aftermarket parts, it's completely reasonable to question the longevity of them.

The pipes will hold up for years but I'm worried about stress on the turbos since they don't have flex joints or use the factory downpipe hangers / brackets.

Better take a closer look at your "factory" downpipes then.

^+1 and +1 to not having hangers or flex points. ETS was the only downpipes to have both hangers and a flex point in there downpipes. Too bad they stopped making them.

Haha wow, i must have been so happy just to get them off that I didnt pay any attention to them

edit- double checked to make sure i wasnt crazy, I guess i just forgot.
Fwiw, the stock dp's felt pretty heavy in hand, I didnt weigh my catless dp's but maybe a weight difference negates hangers? oh well
