I thought the same thing but I went with a M3 Rep and kept my original for safe keeping. Couldn't of been happier.

The front end of these sit low so unless your extra careful that lip will eventually end up cracking or tore right off. Don't get me wrong though lips are beauty

I feel the same way I currently have a m3 rep as well. I really want the lip as well but I'm looking to drop the car and idk about doing a lip after.... I have going to go with side skirt extensions and a rear diffuser with a m tech rear bumper

Do you have to buy new fog lights when switching to m3 or anything else?

Yes exactly! Plus going with the Rep you always have your original for backup
