Beta Testers for PROcede v2
Hi guys,
We should have an early beta version of the v2 software ready for beta testing towards the end of next week. We're looking for current PROcede users to test it. The only catch is that all the beta cars must be equipped with some sort of boost gauge. It can be any type of boost gauge-- analog or digital. Just something that they can read and report back to us during certain conditions. The v2 upgrade will consist of a firmware file and a new map. Both files are uploaded through the user software. And both take about 10 seconds each to load up. We don't want to disclose fully what this early release does. Needless to say, it has to do with boost Other requirements for beta testers are that they must stay in direct contact with us, and only us, during the beta period which will last 1-2 weeks. No spoilers posted on the forum. No publically disclosed details about what the new software does. Looking for no more than 3-4 people. If you're interested, send an email to shiv@vishnutuning.com with the title "BETA tester" in the subject line. Cheers, shiv |

That's awesome Shiv.
Looks like I may be ordering my second PROcede in about 3 weeks then (once the v2.0 is out, tested and ready for release). Sweet. |

Predictions for v.2:
1) Overboost ala new 911 T 2) Launch control 3) Top speed delimited, not that I care though 4) Bimmerfest model to personally perform reflash/map load |

I dont know if an overboost will be very possible... i have a feeling the turbos are near maxed out. Hopefully I will be proven wrong though.

Shiv has stated that this is a potential v.2 feature... not sure how it will be implemented or to what effect, but you can bet that it's going to be a beta feature, hince the boost gauge requirement. The turbo's are maxed in general, but I'm guessing that within a certain rev range, there is room for time limited augmentation.
