M-Tech Install - Where to go?

Hi -

For those of you who have done the full M-Tech install...where did you get it done and what did the paint/install cost you?

I just called BMW Concord's Collision Shop and was quoted $1000 per bumper + another $500 for both side skirts! Seems way too much.

I'm not looking to find the cheapest shop that will end up doing a terrible job, but do want to find something south of $2500 for a simply spray and install. I was quoted less to sand and respray my front fenders, front bumper and passenger door. So this pricing isn't adding up to me.

It was actually pretty hard to piece my M-tech kit together one by one. I bought the rear bumper first, 3 months later got the front bumper, 2 months later side skirts. I was pretty much driving around with an incomplete kit for a while until it was finally together.

All those parts are very simple to install yourself if you just got the basic tools at home. (Refer to the DIY Section):

What about paint though? Install couldn't be that bad...to your point. It's paint that seems pricey.

Kevin,
I can highly recommend Jay of JGMODS. Jay's team painted my 335IS rear bumper and MTECH front lip. For the money, they did a fanatic job.
