I don't think they're that fast, they're like a 14 second car stock. With those mods I'd guess he'd run mid to high 13's?

There will always be a faster & shittier car out there. It's the same way P cars and exotics feel with us. Don't lose sleep over it.

Well looks like you're both pretty equal in HP and TQ. Guess it's who ever is a better driver. If he's AT and you're MT, you're screwed. If it's the other way, you'll probably beat him. Good luck, and don't lose to a Cobalt. LOL

No offence to cobalt owners, but they're slow as shit. Ive ran probably half a dozen SS cobalts(most of them turbo, a couple supercharged) and none have been close. I beat an Intake, TBE and tune cobalt by atleast three cars from a second gear roll in my tune only 135.

If you want to seal the deal, get race gas.

I have v5 running 7/29, AA intercooler, DCI. here in florida all you run into on 27th are: (mustangs, hondas, gtis, cobalts). The few cobalts iv wasted gas on were fully built 3-4 lengths minimum... this group of cars are slow have fun. WITH EXCEPTIONS TO BUILT COBRAS

They are just like our cars, in terms of never knowing what the person has done for modifications. There are 2008 and up cobalt's out there with about 500whp.

i did the install myself took some time just getting everything to fit tightly in place. trimming wise i just cut everything off under the kidney grill scoops that whole plastic shroud isn't needed anyways active comes with its own. I used a sawzaw

for the intercooler pipeing hardest part was getting that crush tubing connector on the passenger turbo side connected to the silver pipe off, its soft aluminum pipe so carful when taking off that clamp.

there instructions provided by active though are very self explanitory if you go step by step.

one thing that confused me though. you reuse the black plastic pipe connected to the stock intercooler on driver side.

The Cobalt is not much of a threat without nitrous, but that Dodge Neon SRT modded is pretty fast.....both POS tho.

Ha Ha. Sad thing is their >=2008 model is already in the 10's while we still wait Of course you have to "build" them to get there. Check this out, 10.99 @ 133.6 mph (vid):

front wheel drive is the biggest factor.....if hes making that much power....from a dig hes toast....from anything a 30 roll or lower he still will probaly spin....from 40-60 roll hed probably give u a race........but id say ud still take him. the turbo ones are way better and faster than the supercharged ones but at the end of the day its still a fwd chevy cobalt win or lose.....
