Wheels

I just bought a 08' 328xi coupe and i want to put either some 19" or 20" staggard rims on it. My car does have the sport package will i still need to lower it or will the wheels fill in the gap between the tire and fender? Anyones advice will be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to but lowering it makes it look 100x better.

and 20's in NY is crazy!!

Garage List
Sport package on an XI doesn't include the sport suspension. Should you decide to lower the car, be careful and do it right - don't just put in springs.

IMO suspension/drop, then wheels.

I'd stop at 19" wheels. These cars aren't designed for 20s though some people do run them.

How low do you think I can drop it on 19" wheels without it rubbing?

Just get a good set of coilovers and you can drop it as little or as low as you want.
