Hey what's up guys? It's quite a pleasure to be on this forum right now. I am currently registered on e46fanatics and zhpmafia as well since I have a 330ci (zhp). My first car was a celica, and I modded the hell out of this car, and ended up selling it, since MA roads and cops are idiots. Anyway, I wanted something faster and more aggressive, thus I purchased a 330ci zhp for an astonishing price with decent miles. I really enjoy this car, and I learn something new every day. Upon researching, I stumbled upon the 335i COUPE. And I need to say this car caught my attention. I don’t have the money to purchase one yet, however by next year I should purchase a 07 black or white one. I have been doing a lot of research in the forums and elsewhere, however I need some clarifications.
Performance question?
I am leaning to get the jb4 software, however I hate CEL on my car. It is my biggest pet peeves. So I was wondering, is there any CEL with a jb4 install? I just want something simple to gain some extra hp. Nothing with meth and stuff.
I want a great intake, and I like the look and the “hypothetical” gain of the dual cone intake. Is there better ones?
Cosmetic question?
Where is the cheapest I can get an aero lip?
The 335i comes with 2 exhausts tips; I wanted to get 4 in total (2 on each side) and a CF rear diffuser. What is the approach to get that done? I don’t want to purchase an exhaust system, because they are quite expensive.
General question?
What common problem is known with the 335i at certain miles? Like oil leak? Intake boot? Windshield pump? Coolant problems?
Before buying the car what should I mainly look out for?

I am leaning mostly towards a white car, and I wanted to paint the rims white, paint the calipers purple/magenta, purple headlights, and purple emblems (no I’m not a female). However if I get a black one, I would most likely do the same thing, except paint the rims black or gunmetal.
Anyway, that is it with the question; I really hope to get some help before I buy this car. I know how to utilize the search button, and I have been using it. If all these info are readily available to me on this forum (which I think it is) please point me to the right direction. Thanks guyz.

Stick with the celica or get a scion and put quad exhaust, possibly slap on an M badge also, it will make it go faster.

Jesus, my first thread and I can already feel the warmth in this forum. Funny thing is, you guys are not even helping me out. Nobody told you guys how to mod your car, I am not asking people for money to help me mod my car, nor I'm modding my car for other people's taste. So why in the world my taste is such a concern?

Alright, i'll try to answer some of your Qs
Check the car fax and maintenance logs to make sure they replace their Fuel Pump
Aero Lip - EBay is the cheapest but the fit would not be 100% = $100 - $150 but you would also have to paint it and it can cost $250

Its because the questions take little to no effort to search for those. That and you don't own the car yet. The purple is hideous in the opinion of most likely more than 85% of the population. If you like it then go ahead and do it, but just cuz you like it doesn't mean we have to pretend to.

This is a forum. I've had cars on forums that most people hated. It happens. Trust me when I say we (well definitely me anyway) is not trying to make you feel shitty. You posted about the purple mods, I'm posting I think it will look disgusting. If you like it go ahead. Hopefully you aren't on here trying to impress me, so don't worry what I think about it.

Prepare to be flamed for a purple car if you do want one, but that is your choice in the end.
