is this the right part?

also i am going to be using this install guide, will it be the same for my car?

That's the right part, but the DIY might be slightly different, the coupes and sedans don't share headlights.

rollinstone is correct, it's going to be slightly different for sedan. Your cover will be held on by these devilish clips, not screws like in that guide. Pry them up with a flathead screwdriver and be very careful not to break them. Rest of it is pretty much the same. Hardest parts are probably getting the initial cover off intact and unlocking the metal clip holding the actual bulb in place.

2006 BMW 330i  [0.00]
i just replaced the xenons on my 2006 330i two weeks ago. i noticed a lot been going out on 06's lately. i purchased a pair on ebay for $120. install took about 45mins. the covers are a little tricky though. i was able to install both without having to remove the wheel well cover. i took the air intake off for drivers side and was easy. passenger side the same except the buld was insterted through the small wheel well cover. the covers for bulbs are very tricky. i did in fact break one clip.

Do not break the clips! Once broken the cover will no longer be airtight, and you will get condensation in your headlights. I had really bad condensation which led to me replacing the bulbs in the first place, and sure enough when I went in to take a look, turns out a previous owner or incompetent service person had not only broken one of the clips, but also broke one of the little nubs that the clip clips on to. I replaced the whole cover for about $20 but I still can't get it airtight due to that nub not being there.

im replacing my drivers side light. Are you saying i can do it easier by just removing the air intake rather than following the DIY instructions?
