aFe 335i N55 Stage 2 Cold Air Intake

I am looking in to purchasing this intake, has anyone installed these for the
n55 yet? How does it perform and is there anything better out there for the price of $440.00?

Refer to above thread... Mid $300's for the intake...
Also check the sticky thread at the top of the N55 forum... Lists ALL performance products for the N55..

No problem... Caught me on a 'good' day...

Yesterday or tomorrow I might have answered: "Search is your friend". Or "another thread on this?"

Being me, I wouldn't spend That much for an intake for the n55 since it really does nothing performance wise. It is only for the sound, I'd wait for the BMS intake to come out. It seems like it will be much cheaper!!

Hey man! Did you get the stage 2? Was your car LCI or not. In any of the cases did you need to get an air duct installed?

Just wait for the BMS intake. It will fit better. Performance wise, there is really no gain from an intake. Just a sound benefit.

I have stage 1 320 hp and 340 tq. It's not bad but after I played around with Procede it's no where near what the car is capable of. I sent Procede back since it cause lots of issues. Waiting on Cobb.

Install is more or less the same. And..that depends if you want to. It's not necessary but it just means you'll be running map 1 all the time. With DP + 93 oct, you can move to map 2.
