iPhone head unit connection

I have an '08 with aux cable input. My phone is a 4s. To date I have incredible feedback/buzz from my monster aux cable. EIther it is poor connection to the phone - has 'some' slight wiggle @ the point of connection to the phone or it is the actual auxiliary connection in the armrest.

Recommended fixes and/or new cable suggestions? I do not have Nav. Also seems that the volume has to be up LOUD to get similar the volume when on radio. Urgh.

Is there a way to get my phone hooked to steering wheel control for songs? I'm certain I will have to hardwire to the head unit.

Is the Dension my only option? Anyone...anyone....buehler???

Also, is this plug and play with a single disc or do I need a reflash?

Have you tried a new cable, i used a Belkin one and sounded great. Use to have the same problem.
