OEM 219 M3 wheel fitment
Will e92 OEM 219 style wheels with Offset: 29mm front and 23mm rear fit on a pre LCI e90?
Tires: Front: 245/40/ZR18 Tires: Rear: 265/40/ZR18 Any pics of this setup? Last edited by tmo335tt; 01-09-2012 at 06:18 PM.. |

I am running 219M's on my 330i with amended tire sizes. Here are a couple of good links that helped me with my research, some of these guys started out with the tire sizes you listed:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...M+roll+fenders http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...highlight=219M My car: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=613831 Major takeaways: Those tire sizes (stock m3 tire sizes) will fit on pre-lci e90's BUT they are pretty big for the non-M cars and rolling fenders is absolutely necessary to make the rear's fit. To make them fit with no/limited rubbing, downsize the rear's (265/35 18). You can fit the OEM 330/335 sport wheel sizes (225/40 18, 255/35 18) if you want, but the tires will be a bit stretched. I went with the following set up to make it work: F: 235/40 18 R: 265/35 18 I went with this setup bc I like the wider more aggressive tires, and don't like the stretched tire look. I went with the 235/40 18s (instead of 245/40) in front bc the 245's would make the diameter of the wheel much bigger than the rear 265/35's I was already set on. No fender roll, and with no rubbing 99% of the time. But I also rarely drive with excess weight or rear passengers in the car. When there is a good amount of weight, it will rub on more significant bumps. My goal is not to roll the fenders and I have not found it necessary at this time. And finally, here is a pic of my car as it sits now. Stock sport suspension: Hope that's helpful.

BMW 335i Wheel and tTire Question
Hello all! I am a newcomer to bimmerpost but the info here is unbelievable......
My Car: 2011 BMW 335i X-Drive, M-Sport, E90 I just purchased a set of Avant Garde M359 Rims. 19x9 35 offset for the front, 19x10 33 offset for the back. The seller says these fit my vehicle, but I have heard many different things. Will these fit without any rubbing, etc...? If they do, what do you guys reccommend for tire sizes?? |

looks great! i love the look of 219's on non-M body.. the rear wheel has that nice concave to it.. much more than my type 195's.. cant wait to put these on my wife's aw 335D (stock sport sus).. (gunmetal 219m)
we already have 265/35/18's and will run either stock 225/40 or try to see how 225/45 looks.. sidewall on front tires looks just too skinny.. with upgraded 265 in the rear it definitely complimented the profile better than 255.. Since this is going on LCI..i read that a fender roll may be needed, but will test without it.. nobody ever sits in the rear so I'm not too worried.. however if need be I can break out the fender roller from the garage.. The wheels can fit, but I'd recommend changing the tire sizing and rolling the rears.
