Angel Eyes

Alright guys.. Are there any downsides to HIDs or LEDs for angel eyes. Or for modding them, period? Im looking for an honest answer. If not, HIDs vs LEDs? For a bright white, no blue, no yellow.

from experience
LED gives you a pretty even distribution of light through both rings but depending on the ones that you get it might be very dim during morning/afternoons

HIDs are bright as heck at night but not very even. the inner ring is much brighter than the outer ring.

If you have a pre-LCI E90 06-08 the WeissLicht LED angel eye upgrade is a good option. If you have the LCI E90 with Xenon's, look into getting the LUX angel eye, which is the brightest option.

Plug and play and I have not had any customers with the E90 LCI's experience errors with these.

I use MTECH 2.0 with JLevi's DAEOS daytime running light harness. No codes and been working great for 2 years.

Lux are awesome, except during 8:00AM-5:00PM. Lol. They are unnoticeable during the day.

I have to disagree. I have LUX V3's and I think they look great any time of day!

let me know your experience with the BMS ones. they caused all kinds of electrical problems in my car (I have an 08 pre LCI E90). Finally had to send them back. Was kind of ticked because Burger wouldn't give me a cash refund. But anyways...

I just bought Lux v5.1 and will be putting them in Sunday or Monday.
