Angel Eyes
Alright guys.. Are there any downsides to HIDs or LEDs for angel eyes. Or for modding them, period? Im looking for an honest answer. If not, HIDs vs LEDs? For a bright white, no blue, no yellow.

LED gives you a pretty even distribution of light through both rings but depending on the ones that you get it might be very dim during morning/afternoons HIDs are bright as heck at night but not very even. the inner ring is much brighter than the outer ring. |

If you have a pre-LCI E90 06-08 the WeissLicht LED angel eye upgrade is a good option. If you have the LCI E90 with Xenon's, look into getting the LUX angel eye, which is the brightest option.

I use MTECH 2.0 with JLevi's DAEOS daytime running light harness. No codes and been working great for 2 years.

I have to disagree. I have LUX V3's and I think they look great any time of day!
