Pre-lci e90 halogen to LCI Xenon question

So I am planning on buying LCI Xenon adaptive headlights. But they do not come with ballasts, bulbs, adaptive modules, and LED turn signal module. I do not really care for the adaptive modules, but what do I need to make these headlights work? Do I really need the adaptive modules or can I just use ballasts and bulbs?

Aren't you going need a whole new headlight assembly for that conversion?

They won't be adaptive even with the module. You would need a new footwell module, the one that has the adaptive feature built into it.

bump. Can I get a confirmation that AHL can be swapped in place of halogens. I don't want them to be adaptive either. I just want to use them and Non AHL.

It's possible to buy AHL LCI headlights and not use the AHL part of the unit?

I was also interested in purchasing a pair of AHL headlights for a halogen to xenon conversion, but was concerned that I would need to buy all the AHL modules as well. Can anyone clarify please?
