"NEW CAR" warranty coverage VS. the CPO
Does anyone know what the "NEW CAR" warranty covers VS. the CPO warranty? I have 1 month left of "new car" and will complain about everything I can once I know? Like iDrive updates, etc. Is there a thread for all the bulletins?
Please help, or +1 if you need to know too. (yes, i searched, but got some server error about memory) Links welcomed |

New car warranty covers everything, so if there is anything wrong take care of it fit now! You may also want to do your free yearly oil change you haven't done so yet. There is a PDF on BMW.ca about what cpo covers, it's very basic compared to original warranty and there is a $50 deductible.

^ thanks! The problem I am having is that I get mixed message that things are only covered if they are 'defective' -- not worn. Then I hear other things.... like the blades... which I will for sure complain about, but don't know what is in scope and not.
For example -- and the biggest thing. The trim on the drivers door (the metallic piece) is all dinged up... very badly. I want it replaced, but over the phone they said it's only for 'defects in workmanship'... Does anyone have a contact at a dealership that can actually straighten this out? That trim shit is over 3000 to replace. |
