275/30 or 265/30?
I bought new wheels that are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. So I am wondering if 275/30 fits on the back wheel? or is the wheel not wide enough? I was reccommended 265/30 in the back but I want the height to be like the 275/30. Does anyone know the overall height difference between those two tires?

depends on your offsets in the rear wheels

I was thinking about going 275, but after worrying too much about rubbing with et30s, I went with the 265s.

I am at 40 offset in the rear with 265/30/19 and I would think there is room for 275's. Get in contact with mike at **********s and ask him what he thinks.

I'm running a 19x9.5 et30 in the rear with a 275/30 tire and dropped on H&R Sports. I don't rub whatsoever. Even with a full car (5 total) i haven't rubbed. I'm not sure if it helps, but i have ZSP on my car.

Sounds like you already made up your mind and you want to hear that you should go with 275's. I think you should try and keep your overall diameters of your new rims/tires as close to the stock ones...265.

what size are you running in front? Don't create too much stagger between the front and rear and try to keep it within 30MM if possible (i.e. 235 f / 265 b or 245 f / 275 b)..

you dont rub because ur car isnt low enough, and when you fill it with 5 people, the camber makes your wheels tuck in the fender, but to tell you one thing, there cant be much space between your fender and your wheel on bigger bumps with 5 people in the car

I always tell people, there i no need for you guys to run 275s, unless you are putting down some good amount of power. They just cost more, take longer to warm up, etc.

I haven't tried going over bumps with 5 people, but then again, i hardly drive anyone in my car. Mostly it's me or just 1 or 2 more people. I do agree with having the staggered setup (30mm) the same when upgrading tires. When i switch my current ones out, I'm most likely going with a 235/275 setup. ![]() |

The thing I like about the 275 over the 265 is the height which in turn fills the wheel well on a car that will probably never be lowered. I would run the 235 on the fronts. If you can fit 19x10 with a 275/30... then why wouldn't you want to put a 275 on 19x9.5? whats the downside?

I'm not trying to change the topic of this post ... but is there a reason for not going with a difference of more than 30mm ... ![]() |
