Jb4 should I leave it off or put it back on?

Recently installed the jb4. After a few days of driving an testing her out, my overheat light came on. Took it to the dealer had it checked out. Air in coolant. So they bled it out an updated the car. But now a new problem arises and it has to do with the throttle body. They said there is no damage but they have to replace the sensor for it I guess.

What should I do after they fix the issues
Leave it off and be on the safe side?or put it on and see wat happens.

Take it in to get the problem fixed before you re-install it.

Try driving it without JB4 (or at least with JB4 disabled) for a while and see if you continue to have problems, first off.

Leave it off if you want your car to last. I expect to see more posts like this as nothing comes cheap. You get what you pay for.

JB is one of the most reliable tune out there but nothing for sure. Try to unplug it and drive for few days

If there is one thing that I have learned with modding cars is that if something goes wrong, it is human nature to want to blame the mod. I have actually had times where I was thinking about modding and then something random failed with the car and said to myself "if I had done that mod I would be blaming it or at least second guessing it right now".

My advice? Make sure your car is fixed and then re-install the JB4 and don't over think your decision. Just have fun!

Def would blame the mods first because I have no other mods an didn't have a problem before hand. But I do agree with you on modding cars. When modding just sit back and enjoy it until something goes wrong and just hope for the best.
I guess I'm just seeing if there was anybody out there that had similar problems.
Thanks for the help guys I'm gonna get the car back in a day or two. And drive it like I would as if the jb4 was still on. I will see if it was from the tune or not.

Will update when I drive it for a week or so and then put the jb4 back on and see what happens

PUT THE JB4 BACK ON! My car isn't half as fun driving it stock. I wouldn't of bought a 335i to drive it stock lol

Drive it and makes sure the car is healthy and good. The issues you described have nothing to do and not even related with the tune.

Your car has been around for a while & a performance mod will stress any weak parts. Drive the car for a week then if its OK put the JB4 back on

Never thought about that good point. I will push it while its stock maybe I can get something else to breakdown while it's still under warranty

After I put the jb4 on. it was day and night how the car performed. I def didn't but it to be stock. Let's see wat happens
