Stripped bolt

Hey anyone ever have experience with using those tap drill kits to drill out a stripped bolt?

A majority of the ones I've used are reverse thread. They work good if you use them properly. Snap-on's is pretty good.

This just happened to me a few days ago with a torx screw. I used a rubber band and surprisingly it worked.

Yea never thought of the rubber band but I'll give it a try and what torx bolt did you strip... I messed up the one that holds the rotor to the hub

I stripped the Torx 15 that connects the air intake snorkel. A very careless mistake... I heard the rubberband method doesn't work for others though.
