If it's even close to that 600HP it's going to be a beast. It will probably be more in line with the stock HP for the next base Corvettes which are rumored to be at current Z06 level (505HP). Who knows, GM may put the same engine in the next Vette's as well (the C7's).

I still can't get past how ugly it is. I'm tired of GM's hard edges thing. It was cool at first, but now I not so much in love with it anymore. Having said that, 600bhp is a lot of power!

What is the point where it becomes impossible to control the car or even get on it without it losing traction?

That's f'in hilarious. I can see the g'ma raisins/retirees in Miami tooting around in 600 hp. Get out the way sonny!!! More cadillacs are sold in Miami than any other U.S. city according to my Uncle who works for Cadillac.

+1 I wouldn't want to drive around with the damn traction control going off every time I started off from a light or tried to take a quick turn.

Never been a fan of the new Caddy styling but that would be one gutsy move on GM's part. It would give Caddy super blasttastic performance credentials. Imagine the C&D comparos, CTS-V, M3, M5, C65 AMG, LX-F, RS4, RS6 Wooohoooo

I don't mind the exterior styling as much as I hate the interior styling and plastics. You can't outrun ugly.
