Custom Quad Exhaust Progression - Detailaddict Set Up
Hi All,
So I bought the detailaddict cat less mid pipes. I bought a magnaflow muffler and tips as well. Last thing was the m3 bumper. All of that is with Leo @ detailaddict. He went to test fit the tips today and they are too big for the outlet. I really like the tips but I am looking for suggestions. Check out the pics and let me know if I should:
I need to make a decision by this weekend so your hasty response would be appreciated. |

Go one size down on the muffler tips and they should fit fine. Hit up cyba, they have a huge selection of muffler tips as well. Nice set up btw |

Same as above. I will have to look at other magnaflow styles and options. I can't really wait on Cyba as I wanted to have it done this weekend or maybe I will have to push it until the end of March. Plus, magnaflow is cheaper and I trust their quality, not to say Cyba doesn't have good product. Check out this pic of an M3 exhaust. Sort of sticks out too. Maybe a little less than what I would have to do to pull these tips off. http://www.flickr.com/photos/incurve...2004/lightbox/ |

Just wait for cyba and do it once. If you install those youll regret seeing how it pokes out to much every time you park. Its worth the wait and you can sell those as "new" condition.

Cyba doesn't sell any single walled angle cut quads or I would be allllll over them a long time ago.

Alright fellas. Lay the suggestions on me. I paid $100 for those magnaflow tips. The burnt Ti ones from Cyba were in the $200 ball park. Not sure I can justify that for tips.

I went for Cyba 3" dark chrome tips; welded flush, they look awesome on this bumper.
VERY tight (one tip is touching the bumper a little), but with the PE, it doesnt get hot enough so that the bumper didnt melt.

I'm in the process of looking at different tips. I don't really want to wait for cyba and I think I can get tips a lot cheaper. Don't get me wrong. Their product has constantly received good reviews. I am looking at 4 single tips or some duals that might work. Any non cyba options are welcomed.

Dude, how do you keep your paint in such good conditions? I wash and wax my car religiously and its still riddled with swirl marks...
