F1 Autohaus LED kit - visor LEDs flickering
Hi everyone,
So I got the F1 Autohaus LED kit, and when the visor lights go on, they flicker and often just turn off. Sometimes wiggling the visor seems to help, but I'm not sure whether that's related or not. Happens on both sides - and doesn't happen with the regular halogen lights. Only the visor lights are affected. What could it be? Defective LEDs or something else? Thanks, -pN

Could be a loose connection or they are on their way out if they are old. LED have a great lifespan but not all LED are created equally so poor soldering or chips deteriorate overtime.
You can get some nice replacements from high performance bulbs .com. Highest quality lighting available for interior kit to date. |

Whether you guys have lights error out or flickering I can assure you the HPB kit does not. You are able to piece a kit together on their site to build your own. I highly recommend it. I've been running that kit in my personal kit for years and I started with the F1 kit and it wasnt bright enough and had the error problems you guys speak of.

Thanks for the suggestion Jeff! Dealt with this problem for too long and will be putting in the order soon. Based on others' experience, seems like the product speaks for itself!

It does indeed. You will enjoy the error free operation and bright white output it offers in comparison to your old kit.
