Oil Cooler Equipped?

Searched but couldn't find it on here.
I am interested in a 335i (e92) build date 10/07
without the sports package. Was wondering if
this car would be equipped with an oil cooler?
I remembered reading early cars might not have an
oil cooler....any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

its highly unlikely it has one, unless the previous owner installed one himself or complained enough to have bmw retrofit one. Do you have any pics of the engine bay?

If you saw an ad on a website or something then look at the engine picture(most ads have an under hood picture).
You should see a thick rubber hose right in front of the engine if it doesnt have it then no oil cooler.

Has anyone on here done business with this dealership or know someone who has?

Thanks for any input.

No oil cooler on that one. You can upgrade to a cooler with an AR design, Evolution Racewerks, Dinan, or OEM, but it will cost well over $1000 including the oil filter housing and oil thermostat housing parts from BMW. I wouldn't bother unless you track the car.

Looks like it has been wrecked and is rated below average. What do you want the car for? Daily driver, track car, weekend cruiser, garage queen?

Thanks

James,

Thanks for your input.
I thought the car looked pretty clean and the reason
for the low rating was attributed to the HPFP problem (buy back).
Still not clear if HPFPs were replaced.
What part of the car do you think was wrecked?
Aside from wheels, suspension, and seats does Sport
package include? Looks like car does not have heated seats too.
If I could get the car for under 20K and still have almost two
years worth of warranty, I think that would be a decent deal?

Thoughts or comments?

Since the VIN sticker in the last, (one of the pics), looks somewhat scratched up, I would say an impact happened to the front. Looks like the wheels have been upgraded already, although I'm not sure. KBB is my source for value...
