Serpentine belt shredded...@&$!!!
Damnnnnitt. Venting. Serpentine belt shredded and I'm in walnut creek...any recommended mechanics near by Berkeley to fix this? I'm having AAA tow it to weatherford BMW first...

You didn't mention the cause of the shredding, but you might want to have a look at this thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=259410
It's an issue I just became aware of...

I don't know what the cause is yet.. I'll find out tomorrow when the shops are open..I did read that issue about the subframe cutting into it. As such, I have had the subframe and an engine mount replaced already so it SHOULDN'T have been an issue any more...we'll see soon enough.
