Exclamation CF on monaco blue

Whats going on peeps?
Well I've only had the car since Friday and Im currently affected by the "mod bug" . So far I've ordered BMS DCI, JB4, ER charge pipe with the Synaspe bov, black kidney grills, painted reflectors, and a led interior kit. As of now Im thinking of doing a few more exterior mods, carbon fiber wise, but Im not sure how CF looks on monacco blue. So far I've been thinking of getting a cf splitter, rear diffuser, and a spoiler but like I said Im not sure how that looks. Does anyone have any pics of cf on monacco blue, or should I stick with the factory colored parts? Thanks for your input...

Exclamation

I'm planning on getting some gunmetal rims in the future, I saw a guy's bimmer on here with monaco blue and gunmetal rims, I think his name was Chris and from the way his car turned out thats the route I plan on taking. I like the dark "murdered out" look I guess, so right now Im just picking and choosing what to buy next.

I also have a monaco. I'd say CF is the way to go as far as exterior mods go, if not doing color matched. I'm not a big fan of the black & blue contrast, especially with a blue as deep as monaco. CF brightens up the contrast just enough IMO; you just want to make sure you don't use too much of it. Then it just becomes tacky.

Monaco is definitely a tough color to work with as far as an overall theme goes... but once it is done correctly, it is bee-you-ti-full.

I was looking at a few different websites such as modbargins.com and checking out the classified ads. Im still debating if I want to go the cf route or not, I know I can't be the only one who has probably thought of going cf on monaco blue, but at the same time I do like to sometimes do the opposite of whatever one else does. I wish I could find some decent pictures

If you're looking for a good deal on some CF splitters (would look wonderful on Monaco blue, I'm just too low), I have some for sale here:

hell yea thats whats up man, do that. Ive always wanted a black car to do the "murdered out" theme but it seems that when it came to buying the cars I wanted black was always a tad bit out of my price range. But since this colors has a good dark contrast I think I can still pull it off. Damn I need to hurry up and get deployed lol

It all comes down to personal preference and how well you execute it. If done right, it'll look good.

Unlike white, montego blue, or silver... CF just blends in with Monaco blue until you get close up. With my CF CSL trunk, unless the car is just out of the wash and the sun is hitting the edge, you can't really tell the edge has exposed CF.

My CF includes: CSL Trunk Edge, front and rear license plates, front and rear badges, (swapped CF grills for gloss black), rear diffuser (to be installed this month). Here's some quick pics infront of my office as an example.
