Steering Wheel Shaking on the highway..

So I had the wheels balanced, and balanced again.. They are balanced fine, but the wheel still shakes. I am running 10mm Bergertuning spacers but on my old 18" they worked fine, but could they be causing a problem on my 19".. I'm lowered on sonictuning coilovers.. any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sachin

alignment, bent wheel(s), bad wheel bearing, bad control arm...could be any or none of those. Suggest you try alignment or have your wheels checked out if they are complete circles, not bent

Try removing the spacers and seeing if that fixes the problem. I had some 5mm spacers that I installed with no problems, but the dealer worked on my car and when they reinstalled them it caused my steering wheel to shake. Took them off and my car is fine again.

Would love to remove the spacers, but the wheels won't clear without them. I've heard that 5mm spacers don't provide enough "rim" to stabilize the wheel versus a 10mm.

Thanks!

Try to get your front wheels rebalanced first, that should be the cheapest. And don't go to your usual tire place.
