11.7@117

I made it out to the track yesterday and it turned out to be a pretty good day. My mods are JB4, aquamist HSF4, DP, DCI, Hoosiers, and LSD... and I had a half tank of gas (50/50 e85/ 91 oct.)

Nice times, getting into the 11's is great for stock turbo cars!

Congrats Trevor.....I see my old LSD helped

His car is fast. We raced my FBO RB turbo vs. his and we were neck and neck until 130 before my HPFP died. Granted I did have an extra 200 lbs in the car and a knocking engine/ spun rod bearing

With the HP and TQ you have why not ? Just shop for a more sticky tire and perhaps wider tire IF you can go wider

I made the mistake a year and a half ago of taking my car to the dealer because it had a missfire and I wanted it fixed under warranty. Needless to say they didn't fix it but they were nice enough to swap my injectors around like a bunch of ass hats and not re-code the injectors. I finally thought about it yesterday before going to the track, I hooked up the GT1 and sure enough the injector codes were way off.

I'm close friends with several dealer techs(not BMW) and they are incredibly adept at what they do. It seems to me BMW must seek out the dumbest fucks they can find to be techs.

Same here, I also have some friends that are BMW techs (yes BMW) and to be honest I don't know how they got hired. They can get away with the half ass work they do most of the time but not to most of the people on here that actually want to drive their cars.

We only have an 1/8 mi in my area. The best times I can get are ~8.3 at 88mph. Pretty good traps on an 1/8 mi but not very good ET. I have trouble launching the 6MT with that much torque and no LSD and 19" street tires. I'm sure I could easily get into the 11s with either an LSD or some 18" DR. I think I'm going to put my 19s FS/FT so I can get some 18" wheels and DD DR. I know it's not the best decision but I'm saving my money for RBs right now and an LSD would seriously deplete my mod fund.

I think mine were way off too weren't they? I agree, abunch of asshats who graduated last in their class at Wyotech.

Good runs though. Want to go on Saturday? My friend is going with his new 5.0 and Vega track car.

I would love to go but I have to go to a wedding that day

I might go to Eurosunday the next morning in Roseville if you want to go.
