Help!Weird horn gearshift problem

I have a e90 323i automatic and I have a very weird problem.

Every time I downshift using the gearshifter or paddle shifter, the horn goes off.
It was working fine until I sent it to replace my stereo head unit with a pioneer one.

It is as if I can activate the horn using my downshift paddle.

Do you know why? Please help.

Can't help but laugh. If I was in your shoes I'd be furious though so bump with hopes that someone can help you out quick. I'd contact whoever installed the head unit immediately.

Who did the audio install? Did you talk to them yet?

Oh no, I removed the stereo and looked through all wirings there. Doesn't seems to be the problem.

Problem fixed. They got one of the grounding wires wrong.
