Planning on a Front End Pre-LCI to LCI E90 Conversion
I was involved in an accident last week where the guy to my left at a red light decided to turn right and with nowhere for me to go he basically ripped the front corner of my car off. The worst of the damage was the adaptive headlight that was ripped in half after being torn completely from my car.
This is what my car looked like before. After seeing DV's amazing LCI conversion (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...source=message) I decided this was my chance and I have all the parts coming in next week. I will be keeping the pre-lci headlights for the time being and may change them over to LCI down the road. Would there be interest in a DIY to clear up any mysteries about the process? I will also be scheduling a legitimate photo shoot within the next 2-3 weeks when my car is finished.

Did you see my thread? We are front-driver-side-damage buddies.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11777860 Unfortunately in my case I was the one who received the stick..... I was the 3rd car in a 3 car pile-up. I'm sure the insurance company is having nicer conversations with you than they are with me. I am planning on doing the LCI front too, I think; depending on how much payout I'm getting. |
