FS: MacBook Pro Unibody - $550

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
For Sale - Apple MacBook Pro Unibody 13"
CPU - 2.26Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Ram - 2 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3
OS - Snow Leopard

Asking Price $550.00OBO

***NOTE***
The screen has a problem. At times the screen fades out and moving the screen around usually fixes it. I took it to Apple and diagnosed it with a loose display adapter connector. They said it could be just a matter of securing the connection or replacing the connector. I opted out to get it repaired because the macbook pro is out of its factory warranty and they're asking $250 to repair it regardless if it's a loose connection or connector needs replacing.
I notated the disclaimer of the defective screen so the item will be sold as is.

Here is a video link of the macbook pro screen fading and moving the screen to restore it.

I also have software for the mbp if you're interested
Iworks - $20
Microsoft Office for MAC - $20
Adobe CS2 - $100

Also have an extra magsafe power supply for the macbook pro - $40

I work for Apple as a tech, this is not a simple cable repair. The entire display is sealed and can't be opened. Therefor an entire display is required which is a few hundred easy. I did a replacement display with the exact same issue on Monday... Just speaking from experience don't want to screw up the sale but I don't want someone to get screwed. Did Apple give you a paper quote? If so I guess you would be good.
