Front Windshield molding...

This is my first post on this forum so let me start of by saying Hello!!!
ok well my front windshield molding was very cracked and coming apart like most of yours, i tried to get it covered under warranty but i failed, so BMW told me they would do it for $150(Parts and Labor) so i pulled the trigger, did i get ripped off or was it somewhat of a good deal????

This should have been covered under factory warranty (not CPO). It's called Reveal Molding and it costs $20 parts only.

Next time search for DIY on here before paying the dealer $120 for a half hour job.

I replaced my windshield last Saturday...they put the wrong molding on, and there's a leak...they're going to have to pull it anyway.

If its the mold at the top of the window. I just did my 2006 e90. It was $18. But if you already did it. Dont worry about it, it is done. I always go through forums now. Because im over the dealers.

My car is a 2007 and they said normal wear and tear items wouldn't be covered under warranty...

Funny my MY2000 4runner never had crumbling moldings and BMW calls this normal wear and tear?
