Bigger exhaust tip solutions for 325i/328i/330i?

I got currently regular twin pipe exhaust on left side of the car, no tips, just two metal pipes as 325i doesn't come stock with any chrome or polished tips.

OEM is easy to install and looks good, but as long as I'm upgrading might see what else is out there.

CYBA has tips for 325i/328i but I'm not sure if they are weld on (would prefer to avoid cutting) and if they're only in black chrome (prefer regular chrome).

Does DIMISA make anything? Any other vendors?

I want a quality product that will stand up to harsh winters too btw.

Any advice is welcome! I need to make a purchase in a week so my buddy from US can bring it over as I'm in Europe. Would save me lots on shipping, hence it totally makes sense.

Dimisa makes special 3" OD tips for your app in both Polished & Powdercoated Black (v3.0)

The 3.5" & 4" tips are too big to fit in the cutout...

Yup - weld on. I'm sure there are aftermarket tips to be found that use screws to clamp on to the tailpipes, but usually they are cheap junk that rust immediately when exposed to winter salt

may be, except OEM I guess. DIMISAs look great, but saw one member's install had tips angled down which looked bad. I hope there is no issue of tolerances to bumper due to bigger diameter.

Should be no problem with fitment as long as you buy the v3.0 (3" OD) - that's why Dimisa came up with this size, they are same OD as stock tips...

If you saw a pic where they were angled, it was prolly a crappy alignment job on the part of the welder

yup, could be. Let's see what CYBA says, then it's a toss up between DIMISA, CYBA and OEM.

all seems to be hovering around 100 bucks price which is OK. Here I'm paying 150 usd equivalent just for OEM.

those will look great on a modded car but I'm keeping mine mostly stock. I like the look but I think a simple clean 3in is best for rear. I think Dimisa has potential to look great and it seems to be a quality product.

will do. Dimisa is running me 115 shipped, and OEM is about 100ish. Locally I'm paying 150 EUR for OEM, and Dimisa would run same with shipping.

I wanted to upgrade but don't feel like 100 bucks for two pipes is a good price by any means, however I don't like to just buy garbage. So it's coming down to 15 bucks difference plus 30 extra for labour (and knowledge that it won't go back stock so if selling it might be an issue for those "all-OEM" buyers).

I got a week to decide and also let's see what Cyba says whom I pmed last night.

I've settled for OEM as I want to keep it low cost but make car look a bit nicer at same time.
I want to avoid fabrication and as beautiful as Dimisa or Cyba tips are, they are not for me. Screw on solution was what I was after and if Dimisa say, offered screw on beefier tips I'd be more than happy to part with my money.
