Help with Hartge lip!!
Hey guys, I need a quick answer to this..ordering a e90 Hartge front lip today from DTM, they say there is no need for holes to be drilled to install it..The DIY's Ive seen the lip has been screwed in underneath the car and then taped up top..Can someone who has installed let me know what the correct way is? If it needs to be screwed in, I want them to predrill the holes..

these lips are very tricky to install because of the way it is made.... you dont need to screw it down, but i did, just to make it more solid. and if you dont get it on right the first time, its a pain in the butt to get it off and put it on again...

So the bumper screws underneath the car dont interfere with installing the lip? What did you screw into? I was under the impression that the bolts underneath bumper were taken out and used to install the lip..

screwing the lip is optional. In fact, mine came from DMT too. It was not pre-drilled. If you choose to screw it, then you use the screws that hold the under tray. go to the DIY section and you will find my diy on that lip. Good luck.
