How many Brake Pad sensors are there? I'm guessing two in the front and one in the rear?

I am about to replace the brake pads and am ordering all the parts. I tried searching but surprisingly didn't get much luck in this regard. Thanks!

Good luck on your sensor replacement. I just did my front and rear pads and sensors yesterday. You have to remove the wheel well liner to access the sensor plug junction box and also to weave the sensor wiring through the retaining clips.

For some reason I also had some difficulty plugging in the rear sensor into the inner pad. It's hard on my old body to lay on my side and try to see into the small opening in the caliper and plug the sensor in. The sensor in the fronts snapped into place on my first try.

Was your front sensor junction box right behind the strut? Mine was...for some reason I thought both front and back junctions would be behind wheel well liner...anyways, just curious

Just the rear sensor was behind the wheel liner. The front sensor was behind the strut. You can see where the front sensor plugs in to the junction box by just following the wiring from the caliper. My suggestion before removing the rear wheel liner is to use a water hose sprayer nozzle and wash the liner before removing. If you have lots of dirt or mud buildup on the liner, you might not see all of the screws holding the liner in place. There's about 10 screws and a couple of them are on the underside of the car.

Also you might want to wear eye protection and a respirator before pulling out the liner. Lots of dirt and debris will be dislodged into your face when you try to pull the liner free.
