I searched for similar situations in this forum and since I could not find any, I am posting this topic.

Here is what is happening: I have the VZNavigator application from Verizon running on my LG VX8600. The problem is that when the phone is paired with my BMW Bluetooth the voice directions cannot be heard neither from the phone speakers nor from the BMW speakers. If I turn off the Bluetooth connection than I can hear the voice directions from the phone speaker.

I guess that the hands-free speaker from BMW bluetooth is only active when you are in a call, however, since the phone is paired it sends the sounds to the hands-free system. Anyone has an idea on how can I activate the speaker for the BMW bluetooth even when not in a call?

Unfortunately, there is no way to get the satnav instructions sent via Bluetooth. There is no phone call in progress and that is required for audio to be heard.
