Vishnu PWM help
To start off I rarely post here...I get most of my answers searching and reading before I need to ask... and I myself get frustrated with cluttering up the forum with the same questions over and over.
So, I just upgraded to Rev 2.5 and love the new maps. I finally got around installing a used PWM kit from a member here. Problem is when I went on my test run to do some pulls the only time I see my hazards flash is when I am letting up on the throttle (over 3500k) they just flash once and I know that meth is not flowing. The kit I received was totally complete and barely used, it came with the upgraded pump also. I can jump the boost switch and the pump runs and it flows up to the charge pipe. I set the parameters as per the instructions in map 2 also. Set it to map 4... I purged the line from the washer bottle twice and triple checked for leaks and went through everything twice also. ![]() Any help or direction would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Did you install the one-way valve before the washer nozzles? Also when testing pump output, submerge the hose to see whether it is sucking bubbles.
Mine did the same, I just rechecked all the connections and blew out the small filter. What did you set your flow number to?

Also, with everything connected normally, turn on the pump by jumping the boost switch just as if you were purging the lines. This pressurizes everything and will show if there are any leaks on the high pressure side.
Use blue lock tight on the threads of the filter connections ( they like to come loose). Simplify! In troubleshooting mine, I removed the connection to the washer nozzles, the T, the check valve, etc. Just one line from the washer tank to the pump and only the filter in between. Add zip ties to each hose connection that slips over a barb fitting. |

Hope you get your meth issues worked out. Try removing the T connector and going straight into the WW tank line and see if that fixes your issue. If so, you could have a bad check valve that you should have located above the T.
Also, I'm a meth fire survivor. I and many other meth fire victims have one thing in common, WW meth kits. I highly recommend buying a trunk mount meth tank. Don’t go cheep… Get a good tank with foam or baffles to prevent sloshing and meth from blowing out the vent as you’re driving. Have fun and be safe. |

I've experienced exactly your symptom when i first installed my pwm. in my case it was wiring error. also consider what wedge said about the trunk mount, the fire risk is there.

OP I second the recombination to double check the wiring. The install directions(step 10) should be checked again as wiring these wrong can cause your symptoms.
Good luck. |

thanks for updating the thread MRVBC.
I've got same symptoms on my 535 trunk mount setup. been fighting it a few days now, (with very little time to put towards it). have primed the $hit out of it, with boost switch jumped and solenoid activated, meth flows well and only a tiny bubble at first.... but actual driving it won't spray. tomorrow we're going to scope the flow sensor return signal at the sensor and at the ecu box.

My advice, remove the line after the fav, connect another longer line, run into cabin into a clear container. Take car for a boot and see if meth actually flows and see if dash lights up. In my case, issue was defective c-clamp on flow sensor. I ran a trunk mounted kit.
When I went for a drive, my meth flowed just fine but the sensor didn't log any flow. I did some troubleshooting and bought spare fav, spare pump, new lines, relays, and finally c-clamp wire which resolved it for me. |
