Did you Lamin-x the whole light? eg the left and right sections of each light vs just the 'clear' section... if so, how much did you need to do it all (2 lights)?

Thinking this might be my next mod...

A big improvement. Personally prefer the darklines but accept it's an each to his own scenario, and both what you've done and darklines look better than OEM 10 times up, so..

Took the lights off and masked off the bottom half, plus rectangle for reverse light, started layering the coats of red lens tint to achieve correct darkness, once the red matched i realised that it looked 'just red' and not smoked like the rest of the lights where indicator is, so i took the bulb holder out and sprayed smoke colour lens spray on the inside, this gave it the smoked look like oem as seen in pics, thats about it really, i just made sure to hair dry the layers inbetween coats. Now just need to laquer for the shine.

Only downside is that when i put car in reverse it just lights up red and you can just about see the white light through the masked rectangle. Not sure if same happens with laminex film but overall im happy with result
