Upgrading to 335i
Hi guys,
I'm looking trade in my '06 325i with 116,000KM on it for an '08 -'09 335i.. Where is the best place to go for this/reputable salesmen I can speak with and what can I expect to pay for the upgrade? My car: 2006 BMW 325i (3L i6 - N52) - Sport Package Manual (OEM BMW SSK) New HPS brakes/new tires/18" CSL Reps/new brake fluid flush with ATE Parrot Bluetooth Bunch of other light cosmetic mods. I want an '08-'09 335i (coupe preferably) Must have sport package Must be manual Thanks |

I got mine via leasebusters.com and also through someone on the forums who referred me to the seller. Initially I visited some used cards dealerships but wasn't impressed with what they had to offer.
I too had the same requirements as you. I was generally weary of private dealerships. I found that most of the time, they would be US cars that were imported and being sold here. Or they would have unusually low odometers. One even advertised the odometer in KM, when it was actually in Miles. So after that I only looked at leasebusters, and BMW dealerships. I did my lease transfer via BMW Mississauga. If found that I saved a good amount if I took over someones lease. Once it goes back to a dealer, they add a bunch of overhead, that you will need to bargain off. Happy hunting! |

You also get some peace of mind when buying a CPO'd car. Mine wasn't CPO, but I paid $38k (tax inc)for my 09 335i with m-sport (every option except NAVI), with 68k KM, back in June this year.

Our cars, especially the Vert's. are usually discounted heavily around christmas and the new year. If you don't mind holding off a bit you can get a really good deal.
Btw, don't make the same mistake I made when I bought lol. Get LCI version 2009+. They come stock with beautiful AE's (xenon package) and the rear lights are also nicer and upgradeable. (Reverse lights). I'm sure there are other positives, but can't think of it right now lol... Enjoy and GL |
